By JAMES M HUFF
Sentinel Guest Writer

James Laroche, son of Jack and Sheila Dyer of north Meadows Circle, Young Harris GA completed his Eagle Board of Review, the final step in his trail to being an Eagle Scout.  James is among only 4% of Scouts that attain the rank of Eagle in Scouting.
LaRoche earned 27 merit badges while being active in Scout Troop 125.  Mr. Kevin Crooks is the Scout Master.  Being only 14 years old he will have the opportunity to earn and learn much more in Troop 125.  His Eagle Service Project was to landscape an area between the sanctuary and fellowship hall of the new
Woods Grove Baptist Church .  He exhibited leadership by utilizing 14 of his fellow Scouts and adults to help with his project.
James plans to attend
Young Harris College , then Harvard University where he will obtain a Masters in law to eventually become a judge.
